One Word Brand: Relaxation

 

The one word that comes to mind when you stay at the Hotel Totoro is relaxation. From the first moment you step into our resort to our luxury amenities, our goal is to create an environment and feeling of relaxation.

The main character that the Studio Ghibili has as it's own mascot is Totoro. We decided that Totoro would be an amazing logo for the Hotel Totoro, which is named after it.Totoro is the Spirit of the forest from the anime My Neighbor Totoro. Totoro is a mixture of several animals: tanukis (the Japanese version of raccoons), cats (the pointed ears and the facial expressions), and owls (the chevron markings on their chests and the "ooo"-ing sound they make with their ocarinas at night). Our logo uses shades of green and blues in its design to represent the relaxation, peace, and nature that embodies our resort.
