Employee Recognition Plan

 

The Hotel Totoro, every month, honors our employees with a two day BBQ where food is served by each areas leadership. We offer this recognition BBQ on two days, so that everyone can take part in these events.

 

At this monthly event, we take the time to have our employees sample an new items our hotel has, let them see sneak peeks of new movies coming out from Studio Ghibli, and relax with some of our in room spa treatments.

 

We  also choose to recognize our work anniversaries with gift certificates to Hotel Totoro business partners in the Shreveport area in both the retail and food and beverage industry. Major milestones are recognized with special nametags worn by our employees and their names and pictures are posted in the employee lounge backstage.

 

Each department also has an employee of the month raffle where the winning employee, who has had the best performance review, gets the option of a parking space or a paid day off the manager works their shift.
