We believe that all of our employees should get an even balance of information about who the Hotel Totoro is as a culture and of specific areas of the hotel. Every member of our staff should be able to assist any guest in pointing them in the right direction of what they need. Having our staff know who we are and what we do is as equally important as knowing the property and what we have to offer.

Welcome Meet and Greet

After our newest members of our staff are given a tour of the property, seen a brief video on the vision and mission of who the Hotel Totoro is, we then head to the lounge for our final portion of the orientation. We have a sampling of what our hotel has to offer in food and beverages so that our newest members can experience our top level dining, while the heads of the departments are available to meet each new member. We will also have a show and tell of our Kiki’s Delivery Cupcake Machine, where each of our members will be able to use the machine and see how it works and tastes.
